Mine was lovely; we had family at our house for Christmas, and my husband cooked up an absolute storm. The first Christmas lunch cooked in our new kitchen, so it was really put through its paces, and worked a treat.
We had a new family member join us on the 16th of December - Cleo the kitten, who is equal parts beautiful sweet fur-ball, and insane gremlin. We love her.
Oh, and I got a brilliant early Christmas gift when I was included in Stella's 50 trend-setting women you need to follow in 2018, alongside some pretty incredible poeple like Alexa Chung and Nigella Lawson, so you know, no biggie!
Anyway, I’m READY to tackle 2018. It’s going to be a busy and exciting one that’s for sure...
Now this post is really overdue. I’ve been promising it for months, but I have to admit that I took on a little more than I could comfortably chew in the last few months of the year, and had too many deadlines hanging over my head, and that meant several posts I’d really wanted to write got shelved.
But here it finally is! I’ve tried to include the source for pretty much everything in the kitchen here in one post as I’ve had so many questions. If I’ve forgotten anything just ask in the comments below, and I’ll add it.
I’ve also made a few updates to the kitchen since the Reveal post - the extractor hood finally went in, some lovely shallow ledges went up along the cooker side, and a black metal picture ledge with hooks went up on the sink side. I think these additions really finish the room off, though no doubt things will continue to evolve in there!
A few people have also asked what the room dimensions are: it’s 2.7m wide, by 5.35m long.
Okay, enough rambling...
