Fantasy House Friday [The Coffee Table by MAIE]

Fantasy House Friday is BACK! I used to love this little series, and thought it was high time it returned, because if there’s one thing I’m good at, it’s falling in love with beautiful things, that I’m sure you’ll love too, to fill that fantasy house in my head.

I’m approaching my choices with a buy once and buy right ethos, so expect timeless classic pieces. Future heirlooms if you will.

So without further ado, allow me to introduce you to The Coffee Table by MAIE, a brand founded by Theres Hoyos, who is utterly passionate about doing right by the planet but without sacrificing style. She actively avoids using stones that are at risk of over extraction, by choosing lesser known variations, with off-cuts being fashioned into coasters and trays. That said, there’s no shortage of choice, with nine options of delicious travertine, marble and terrazzo to pour over.

I’ve seen The Coffee Table in the flesh and believe me, they’re every bit as beautiful as you’d imagine, and more.
